The Del-Vikings formed in the military service and soon gained the attention of Fee Bee Recording Studio. After two of the Del-Vikings members were transferred to Germany, they took on a white member making them the most-successful, multi-racial band in Doo-wop. In 1957 they recorded their first major hit, Come Go With Me. After that they recorded one more hit-single, Whispering Bells, and faded into obscurity.Added to timeline:
