jul 3, 1778 - Battle of Wyoming

Description:

This was also known as the Wyoming Massacre and was a battle between Patriots and Loyalists who were helped out by Iroquois raiders. It took place in Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania. Over 300 Patriots died in the battle and some settlersclaimed that some Iroquois raiders kept around 30-40 Patriots who had surrendered and tortured them until they died.
