sep 30, 1938 - Treaty of Munich
Description:
Germany, Italy, Great Britain, and France sign the Treaty of Munich, also known as the Munich agreement. This agreement states that the Sudetenland, which was the border around Czechoslovakia would be surrendered to Germany, as long as Germany pledged to not unleash war on the rest of Europe. Czechoslovakia was pressured into accepting this agreement. However, in March of 1939, Hitler violated this agreement by invading the rest of Czechoslovakia.
