Drowns On Movie Set
Description:
Tragedy struck The Lone Ranger set on Friday 21 September 2012 when a crew member drowned while preparing for an underwater action scene. Michael Andrew Bridger, 48, of Redondo Beach, was wearing scuba gear and working in a large water tank; filming was not taking place at the time. Los Angeles County coroner's office told the press that there were indications that Bridger died of a heart attack.
He was one of the close-knit crew that had worked on all of the previous Jerry Bruckheimer - Johnny Depp movie collaborations in the past decade, beginning with Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
