Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson have been buds for ages, Depp even invited the heavily made-up Goth singer to his first Pirates of the Caribbean premiere at Disneyland back in 2006, much to the horror of parents who had brought small children to the event.Now, these two eccentric chaps have collaborated on a duet: a cover of Carly Simon‘s infamous 1972 hit, “You’re So Vain” — a song reputedly written about actor Warren Beatty.
The song will appear as a bonus track on Manson’s new album, ‘Born Villain’, with the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor playing drums and lead guitar and Manson providing the vocals. The controversial singer and eccentric actor have been friends ever since Manson met Depp on the set of the original 21 Jump Street TV series, where Manson appeared as an extra.
