Description:

The Treaty of Paris representative of King George the III talked to the United States and Great Britain to end the revolutionary war and to recognized the United States as a Independent nation. The Continental Congress named five people to commission to negotiate a treaty. The talk began in April 1782 when the French and American won at Yorktown. The French expected that the American helped them to their diplomatic strategy, but the Americans distrusted the France and pursued an independence course. The preliminary articles of peace are signed by Adams, Jay, Franklin and Henry Laurens for the US and Great Britain on November 30, 1782.
