Description:
The United States Declaration of Independence is the statement adopted by the Second Continental Congress meeting. According to Wikipedia, the Declaration announced that the thirteen American colonies at war with the Kingdom of Great Britain would now regard themselves as thirteen independent sovereign states no longer under British rule. Under this declaration, a new nation is formed - United States of America. It is now a independent country. The Declaration's most famous sentence reads: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
