Description:

Discovered by a Powerful Sorceror of Alba Longa named Numerius (supposed in Antiquarian tales to be her father), Romana's Wolf Pack is killed by an Alba Longan warband under the orders of King Amulius, who believed this order would include the death of Romana, who he in his paranoia assumed was the same girl he had ordered drowned years prior.

Romana at this time is noted in legend to have fought like a Wolf, and it is noted in Wixen legend that she almost 'became as one' with the creatures. Roman Wixen stories of the period tell that she was painted with the blood of her mother and the pelts of her brother-and-sister-Wolves before she was captured - 'Pelles eorum regi instar coronae erant. Illa lupus, non femina erat.'*

When she was subdued, Numerius arranged with the Alba Longan soldiers - loyalists of the old King Numitor - to leave her to him.

*Translation: Their skins were like a king's crown. She was a wolf, not a woman.
