jun 22, 1774 - Quebec Act passed

Description:

The Quebec Act was not a huge event in the American Revolution, but it still had some effects on the colonists at the time. The Quebec Act enlarged the colony's boundaries to a lot of the surrounding land, including the Aboriginal territory south of the Great Lakes. However, the Americans had always claimed the Aboriginal territory as their own, so they were angry when it became part of Quebec. The Quebec Act lead to the attack on Quebec from the colonists, which did not succeed, but made the Canadiens of Quebec sure that they want to stay loyal to British instead.
