Hurricane Fiona was a destructive Category 4 Atlantic hurricane that impacted portions of the Caribbean and Eastern Canada. It was the strongest and costliest tropical or post-tropical cyclone to hit Canada on record. On September 16, 2022, it passed Guadeloupe as it entered the Caribbean Sea, and strengthened into a hurricane as it approached Puerto Rico two days later. The sixth named storm, third hurricane and first major hurricane of the 2022 Atlantic hurricane season.
