aug 26, 1896 - Occupying Bank Ottoman

Description:

In an attempt to get more of Europe's attention, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation stormed and fortified themselves at Bank Ottoman in Constantinople. They would only leave if their requests were filled.

1. The massacres in Constantinople would stop.

2. Stop attempting to reclaim the bank, once the revolutionaries ammo would run out, they would explode the bank.

3. A written guarantee suggesting the revolutionaries will not be harmed.

4. Set free all jailed revolutionaries based on the current events.

European ambassadors negotiated this deal to deescalate the conflict, and both parties came to an agreement. However within the very same day, the Sultan broke his end of the deal and the massacres continued.
