I think denim is hard because, with denim, you have to really understand your body type to do it well.

My go-to denim is vintage. My go-to anything is vintage. I don't always choose one type of cut or fit. As with anything in fashion, it's about how you feel, how you want to look, where you're going, what you're doing. So, for me, it's about variation.

But I do love high-waisted jeans. I love old-fashioned cuts that make a feminine silhouette look amazing. I think you lose that with some more modern cuts of denim.
