Description:
The first computer made which could be considered as a “computer” was the ENIAC which was short for “Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer”. The computer was started in 1943 and finished in 1946. The ENIAC and ran at electronic speed and used plug boards for programming. The machine was large and could fill a 20 by 40-foot room. The computer made at the time was able to add about 5000 numbers in as little time as a few seconds. When a problem was raised in the programming, it could take days to fix.
