Description:
- refused to pay the forced loan
- asked charles where they went wrong, because he was taxing illegally
- november 1627, they asked for a writ of habeas corpus (to be told what they did wrong)
- charles argued that if the tudors could do what they wanted, he should be able to as well
- king kept moving the 5 knights around so they couldn't be found
- (released in 1628)
