Yes, I did a little bit. The stunt co-ordinator quickly learned I didn’t need much. Throwing punches and getting in bar fights is all part of coming from Texas. Hot Rods, fist fights and brawling – I’ve been around all that.
What was working with Johnny Depp in The Rum Diary like?
I was a fan of the book written by Hunter S Thompson and also Bruce Robinson who directed it. Working with Johnny Depp was also certainly a plus. I knew the integrity of the material would be protected.
