A third City Stage program, “The Role of Dancer as Actor—Ways of Preparing for a Role,” was presented twice, first at Westminster College, and later in January 1979 at Eastwood Elementary School Auditorium. The first evening utilized “Parade” and “Our Love Affair” from JUKEBOX, sections of CONCERTO GROSSO, ICARUS, and BETWEEN ME AND OTHER. . . . The second evening, Thom Scalise discussed and demonstrated his preparation for roles DAY ON EARTH, MY BROTHER’S KEEPER, and “Parade” from JUKEBOX.
