Description:

During the Late Sasanian Turmoil, the Sassanid Shahs' power become more and more weakness, the frontier fallen into lots of revolts and warlords, palace coup often launched by the generals and nobals, and the Shah deposed and changed frequently.

Unlike previus Shahs, Ardashir IV was very unwilling to be manipulated by his Wuzurg framadar; as the histroy shows that, Shahs would be killed when they grown-up and show their self will, he tried to hide his real intelligence and prepare for a surprices strike secretly.

Year 800, the Wuzurg framadar Vandad Hormozd attampts to depose Shah Ardashir IV, but the Shah strikes first and launched a counter-coup that dismissed and arrested Vandad Hormozd and his adherent.
