Description:

During the Late Sasanian Turmoil, the Sassanid Shahs' power become more and more weakness, the frontier fallen into lots of revolts and warlords, palace coup often launched by the generals and nobals, and the Shah deposed and changed frequently.

After the counter-coup, Ardashir purge his court, nobals and generals several times to make sure his court is absolute loyalty to him; feeled being cornered and out on a limb, those generals and nobals had no choice and decided to gamble.

Year 808, Karenids general and nobal Karin, led a group of generals and nobals launched a palace coup against the Shah, Shah himself killed in this coup, his son Kavad had then enthroned, with Karin as Wuzurg framadar.

After this coup, the Sassanids had become only a puppet of nobals and careerist to maintain the balance of superior and the last remaining face of the "Sassanid Empire".
