Lt Col James Hawthorne riding with Col Lacey to a deserted wharehouse found British soldiers chasing chickens. Each raised their rifle, shooting two British soldiers. Because of superior numbers, both Hawthorne and Lacey withdrew from the engagement.Added to timeline:
