At Burches Mill. Brig Gen Marion and SC Loyalist Maj Micajah Ganiey signed a regional peace treaty. As a result of the treaty, Gainey and his Tories laid down arms and returned to peaceful existance. Gainey agreed to turn over all Tories who failed to comply and any Patriot deserters.
