jan 18, 1782 - West Indes Brig runs aground

Description:

The HMS Chatham captured a brig arriving from the West Indes with rum, coffee, and other supplies being sent to Charles Town. The brig ran aground on Folly Island (Coffin Land) and was lost. The crew was saved but the brig was burned by the British.
