Description:

Patriot Col LeRoy Hammond maintained his headquarters at Anderson's Mill on the Saluda River. "Bloody Bill" Cunningham Loyalist went after Hammond after the massacre at Hayes Station and burning of O'Neal's Mill. Hammond had abandoned the mill so Cunningham burned the mill prior to leaving.
