Description:

Lt. Col. Banastre Tarleton pursued Lt. Col. Armand Legion cavalry and assorted militimen retreating from the Battle of Camden. At Rugeley's Bridge near Rugeley's Mill, Col Armand heavily outnumbered fought an intense and valiant fight before being forced to withdraw north on the Great Waxhaw Road being chased by Tarleton's Legion all the way to Hanging Rock, 22 mile away.
