jun 21, 1780 - Santee River Privateers

Description:

Two small Britrish privateers from Florida entered the Santee River to plunder local plantations. Local milita captured one vessel and some crew from the second vessel along with 16 Negroes taken from local plantations. The capured privateer was taken to Charles Town and the second escaped.
