Description:
Willis was old, feeble, of small stature and a shoemaker who lived not far from Mrs Wilds. While carrying his fowling piece named "Old Sweet Lips" happened on the two British soldiers who robbed Mrs Wilds. Willis shot both soldiers dead leaving them in the road. He meet and told young Ayer of the indcident and Ayer found the two soldiers examing their person. A few days later Ayer learned of Mrs Wilds robbery and returned her gold he removed from the soldiers.
