Description:

British Lt Samuel Bradley was reconnoitering Patriot positions near Hobkirk Hill in Camden. Lt Bradley was captured by Patriot militia, one of which was the brother of a man Lt Bradley had captured and hung for being a Patriot. The Patriots returned the punishment hanging Lt Bradley from a tree on Hobkirk Hill.
