Description:

Col. Joseph Hayes, Capt. Thomas Blassingame, and fifty Patriot militiamen attacked a force of twenty-five of the Dutch Fork Loyalist Militia, under the command of Major Moses Buffington, who had been posted at Col. Dugan's place on Indian Creek, four miles south of the Enoree River. Major Buffington and three of his men were wounded and seven or eight were captured.
