Patriot Capt Ben Steadman was lying sick in bed at the home of his future wife's parents home, Patriot Maj John Moore. Maj "Bloody Bill"Cunningham entered the home and shot Steadman in his bed. Two other Patriots sleeping in the barn were also killed trying to escape.Added to timeline:
