Description:

After the Battle of Eutaw Springs, the British soldiers were to reenforce Lord Cornwallis in Yorktown. Due to exhausting fight they stopped to rest and recover at the Old White Meeting House. They burned the interior of the brick church and possibly colonial records moved from Charles Town for safe keeping.
