After the hanging of Patriot Col Haynes by the British, Capt John Ervin was orderd to disrupt British communication line along the Santee River. Capt Ervin captured a British convoy along with three British officers and one Private. Their fate is unknown but may have been exchanged at a later date.Added to timeline:
