mar 29, 1780 - British crossing of the Ashley River at the Fuller's House

Description:

A foggy early morning, a large contingent of British and Hessian troops crossed over the Ashley River landing at the Fuller House. This was Sir Henry Clinton's attempt to cut off communication to the city of Charles Town which was under siege by the British. There was no combat operations just movement of troops to occupy specific terrian.
