Description:

Prior to the Battle of Hobkirk Hill, Patriot Lt McDonald troops were on patrol monitoring the British near Camden. They found a mill used by the British to grind meal protected by a company of British Troops. Lt McDonald troops attempt to sneak up on the mill and burn it. The action was foiled when a British sentry was shot alerting the cavarly causing McDonald to withdraw.
