As British General Pre'vost continued his march to Savannah, spliting his command. Pre'vost marched northeast on Ritter road crossing Fish Pond Bridge. Just north of the bridge, Patriot cavalry fired on the British scouts wounding several before withdrawing.Added to timeline:
