feb 1, 1781 - Skirmash at O'Dell's Ford

Description:

After Cowpens, Patriots learned Tories were at O'Dell's Ford on the Enoree River. Capts Isaac Shelby, Casey, Elder, and Berry's force found the Tories stopped for the night at Odie's house at O'Dells Ford. A skirmish occurred but the Patriots were unable do dislodge the Tories so they withdrew. The next morning they found the Tories had fled during the night.
