Description:
An American vessel captured a British schooner and was delivering to the port at Beaufort. It is believed that when the American vessel observed the British galleys in the port, they abandonded the schooner and fled. Loyalist Maj Deveaux who was in the port took possesion of British schooner.Added to timeline:
