Description:

In December, the company received its second Rockefeller grant a sum of $270,000. extending through June 30, 1972. (The first grant would expire June 30, 1969.) The funds were to cover salaries, stipends for visiting artists, costuming, scenery, touring, and technical assistance. At this time, a goal for the company was to acquire a repertory of 25 ballets.
