Description:

After the retaken of Ctesiphon, Surkhab wait for the further reinforce and rests his army for half a year, then divide the army into half, one march north to take other cities and toward the old Roman-Persian border, the other march south toward Persian Gulf.
The north march army met a small group Arab army near Ninevah, its led by local Arab general whom recently self-proclaim Caliph, the Persian army destroy them easliy and soon took back Ninevah.
