4h 16min, nov 2, 1943 y - Battle of Changde

Description:

On November 2, 1943, Japan invaded and attacked the city of Changde, which was already more to the center of China and not so far east, where the main fighting had been recorded. The Chinese counterattacked and fought strongly against the Japanese for the dominance of the city.

By the beginning of December, China had had a remarkable resistance that did not let the Japanese advance. This caused that more troops of Japan arrived at the city to fight, but the resistance and the counterattack of the Chinese were stronger and on December 20 the Japanese withdrew, granting the victory to the local country.

Despite the victory of China, the city of Changde was devastated and the dead were more than 50,000.
