jun 6, 1902 - Commonwealth Franchise act. 1902 June Franchise Act The Commonwealth Franchise Act was in acted where it gave Australian women over 21 the right to vote. This finally showed that Australian and women in genera l had the same equality and a man didn't have anymore rights than a lady did. A big value to this is respect and freedom. This is because Australia finally recognised women and respected them more. Also they had now a freedom to vote
