Acorrding to Leo IV's personal military diary, after taken Antioch without a fight, the Imperial Army march south to beat the Bedawi which chasing Sulayman, two armies met south of Antioch, Arabs were only about six thousand. Leo’s army enveloped them simply by deploying, then crush them like crush a cake, and barely three hundred escaped south with word of what was happening, while compare to the Imperial Army which lost only twenty-seven men.Added to timeline:
