Description:

15th January, 2004 – After school, he’s packed a few things in his backpack and he makes his way to the bus stop. Uses money from his piggy bank to pay for a bus but gets on the wrong one and ends up in York. Scared alone, no money on his mobile to call for help. Huddles in the bus station in York, sobbing and scared.

16th January, 2004 – The police soon pick him up and take him back to his parents’. Sam doesn’t tell them about what he saw Benjamin doing to his mother. Riley is pleased he’s home but Benjamin is furious. More screaming and Sam just sobs. Goes upstairs to his room and comfort eats as much as he can until he’s sick.
