Description:
King Thespius of Thespiae let it be known that a lion was hunting in his kingdom. Heracles, seeking glory, promised to kill it. He hunted it for fifty days; during each night of the hunt Heracles slept with a different daughter of the king; they each gave birth to a son. After the fiftieth day, Heracles killed the lion and took to wearing it's skin as a cloak.
