Description:

On the morning of Dec. 7 of 1941, Japanese airplanes surprised Pearl Harbor with an attack. About 190 Japanese warplanes attacked the harbor destroying 150 American planes, six battleships and other small ships. This led FDR with only one option where he asked Congress to declare war on Japan. This brought the U.S into the war joining the Allied powers.
