Description:

Till April 721, the Arabs had captured the entire delta to Cabasa, with fourteen thousand Arab reinforcements arrived in june, the arabs keep marching toward Alexandria. Instead of lack of resistance, Arabs found heavily fortified, and heavily reinforced of the city, with the banner of the Rome Emperor among other banners atop the walls. Before the Arabs arrive, Emperor Maurice II led a massive reinforcing army of ten-thousand into the city, as well as gathering the remaining garrisons and supplies of Egypt to the city, which in total Alexandria had nearly thirty-five-thousand army and additional fortifications that spent the past six months to built. The attempt of Arabs to assault the city was bloodily repulsed, they have no way but to start besieging the city.
