Description:
The royal commission had investigated Aboriginal deaths in custody in a span of a decade and it had provided 330 recommendations. The recommendations were made because of the high number of deaths that occurred in custody of Aboriginal people. The Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody was to inquire on the death numbers and prevent these deaths in the future, the recommendations are still carried today.
