March on Washington was the largest political rally for human rights in the United States, estimated 200000 to 300000 participants converged in the Mall in Washington DC. They had protested for jobs and freedom for African Americans, this was the day known for Martin Luther King Jr’s iconic speech, “I Have a Dream,” spread to the world at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. This march supported the passing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
