Led to the Great Depression. Caused by a crash in the stock market in America. America then asked for all their money back as businesses in the USA were going bankrupt. German banks were running out of money because everyone went to the banks to get their savings. The Weimar government made bad decisions and therefore the public gave their votes to the Nazis, who went from 12 seats before the Wall Street Crash to 230 seats in the Reichstag.
