A sit-down strike occurred in Flint, Michigan when workers did not want to leave the factory. The strike went on until February of the next year when they requested that their demands be met. The GM finally gave in giving them their demands. This caused an almost chain reaction throughout the country where many workers also started doing sit-down strikes.Added to timeline:
