nov 7, 1862 - Removal of Dakota Survivors (Nov 7-13)

Description:

Governor A. Ramsey ordered that all remaining Dakota in Minnesota: “must be exterminated or driven forever beyond the borders of the state.” Most of the Dakota soldiers were young men, but the rest of the Dakota(who didn’t want to fight)were sent from the Lower Sioux Agency to Fort Snelling. Mobs of angry settlers attack them along the way there.
