1. You can slow down motion on film
2. Don't have to dissect animals to observe motion.
3. Idea that the camera is like the human eye, but the camera is more powerful. Extending vision. Optical unconscious- idea that your eye picks up on stuff that is too fast to notice. Film makes u aware of this stuff.
